Marathon Tracking
As I am running the half marathon coming September, I am using this page to Track my preparations for myself and for others.
So here we go..
June 21, 2008 - Ran 8 miles and walked another 6 miles in the day. This should give an idea how my Sunday was.
.. and I ran couple of 3 milers in this gap but not sure exactly on what days. Also had a 1.5 hrs Yoga session on June 27, 2008.
and today June 30, 2008 - Ran 2 miles and 30 minutes of Strength training.
July 1, 2008 - Ran 3.2 miles and some stretching exercises.
July 2, 2008 - Rest day
July 3, 2008 - Rest day. Roamed around the downtown to watch Independence day eve fireworks. I can say I walked 2 miles though.
July 4, 2008 - Felt really lazy, so rest.
July 5, 2008 - Ran 5.2 miles. Forgive me for “penny”ing out the .2s and .1s. They officially don’t matter much but for me it gives a joy of over “averaging” the goal I had for the day.
July 6, 2008 - Strength training
Between July 7 and July 13 - I ran a 4 miler and a 2 miler. The work had a say in this week and so couldn’t do much. I even missed my favorite Yoga on 12th. The 10 miler that was scheduled for 13th was also canceled.
July 14, 2008 - I biked around 8 miles and ran 1.5 miles. Also strength training.
July 15, 2008 - Monday blues. Rest.
July 16, 2008 - Had a walk for 2 miles.
July 17, 2008 - Ran 4 miles.
